On October 13, the ceremony for appointing Li Guiping, Managing Director of CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd., as a guest professor and his personal lecture were held in the 1^st Lecture Hall at the Conference Center of Jiangsu University (JSU). Yuan Shouqi, Chair of University Committee for CCP affairs and President of the university, presented him the agreement of employment and the school badge.

At the end of the ceremony, Professor Li Guiping delivered a speech with the title the Career Planning of College Students in the “New Normal” Economy and the Competitiveness of CIMC Vehicles on the International Market with the focus on two topics, namely My Path of Growth in a Chinese Company- to Create instead of Yielding and the Transformation in a Fragmenting Global Semi-Trailer Market. During the speech, he talked and interacted with the participating teaching staff and students.
