David Li Elected as the New Director of China Automobile Industry Association Special Vehicle Branch

On November 23, 2016, the election of the 6th Special Vehicles Council under China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and the member conference were held in Wuhan with more than 100 attendees including members of the 5th council, the candidates for members of the 6th council, representatives of the council member, and the staff at the Secretariat.

At the conference, the Work Report by the 5th CAAM Special Vehicles Council, the Financial Report by the 5th CAAM Special Vehicles Council, and the explanation on why the working rules of the Council would not be changed were presented.

Li Guixin, Director of Member Services, announced the Approval on the Election of the 6th CAAM Special Vehicles Council, the compositions and personnel proportion of the Council, the procedures of the election, and the recommended scrutineers and vote counters. The procedures of the election were considered and approved at the conference and the candidates for members of the new council (organization candidates), the vice chair (organization candidates), and the chair (organization candidates) were voted for through a secret ballot.

CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd. was elected as the chair organization of the 6th council and David Li, Managing Director of the company, was elected as the new Director General of the 6th council through the voting at the conference.

Hunter He from CIMC Vehicles (Group) was elected as the Executive Vice Secretary-General upon the nomination by the Secretary-General.
