The introduction of the new GB1589 standard is exerting an increasing effect on the road transport industry. The strong sales in the 4th quarter of last year have evolved into the upgrade of the entire industry. The special vehicles presented at this event clearly have extended dimensions that are much more standardized. The ultra-wide and oversize vehicles traditionally being used by domestic logistics and transport companies are nowhere to be found. As a leader in the special vehicle sector, CIMC Vehicles has always been promoting normalized, standardized, and light-weight products and is dedicated to developing eco-friendly and healthy logistics operations. The three models it presented at this event best reflected this concept.

The PSI automatic tire inflation system, as a part of the smart trailer, was presented visibly on the exhibiting ground. This system is capable of reducing abnormal wear and loss of tires and the fuel. When flat tires occur, the system is capable of ensuring normal operation of the vehicle within 500km. Data on actual use by large fleets both at home and abroad shows that the system can reduce fuel consumption by 2% and the wear of tires by 10% to 30% for every 100 kilometres. 70% of the fleets ranked among the top 200 in the US such as the large fleet of FEDEX have PSI as the standard equipment. The improvement of the automatic tire inflation system and the replacement of the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) by it are the inevitable trends in the future and it will be the standard equipment of the future smart logistics.
