April 18, 2020 marked the 13th anniversary of the commencement of operation of CIMC-SHAC (Xi’ an) Special Vehicles Co., Ltd. (“CIMC-SHAC”), a subsidiary of CIMC Vehicle. As the leading and the largest manufacturer of dump trucks in Northwest China, CIMC-SHAC will continue to maintain its competitive advantages in construction-type dump trucks under the favorable “New Infrastructure” policy this year, so as to achieve high-quality growth in its business performance.
CIMC-SHAC has celebrated the anniversary with its staff, expressing gratitude for their hard work over the years. Under the theme of “Environmental Protection and Public Welfare,” CIMC-SHAC arranged all staff to celebrate the anniversary of its inception through “Online Racing Games + Offline Public Welfare” activities while upholding the principle of simplicity.

Review of Milestones with Online Racing Games

CIMC-SHAC has an advanced U-box automatic production line in Europe. After five rounds of iteration over six years, CIMC-SHAC’s “U-shape” dump truck products, which are in line with European technology and standards, have gained popularity both at home and abroad by ensuring high residual value.
On April 16, CIMC-SHAC held the “Thank U for Your Hard Work” event where employees were presented with the history of the Company and milestones of the “U-shape” product series through participating in games where the winners were awarded prizes. Some 735 staff of CIMC-SHAC participated in the event, collected their charity prizes, and donated them to front-line sanitation workers who work in and around the plant.

Spreading Love and Charity through Offline Public Welfare

Party members and employees have fulfilled their responsibilities by spreading love and donating to charity. On April 17, the donation ceremony of “Caring for Environmental Sanitation Public Welfare” hosted by the Communists Party branch of CIMC Shaanxi and the labour union was held at Jingwei Park. CIMC-SHAC donated charity packs to 100 front-line sanitation workers fighting the epidemic from Xi’ an Jingfa Cleaning Co., Ltd.

“I would like to express my gratitude to those individuals who provide a glimmer of light and accomplish the mission of ‘fighting the epidemic,’ so that we can understand the true importance of unsung heroes again.” Kong Fei, the Secretary of the Communist Party branch and the General Manager of CIMC-SHAC, said, “As we move forward, we always appreciate the support from our partners and would like to thank all sectors of society for their assistance to CIMC-SHAC. We will continue to focus on providing services to CIMC-SHAC and enrich the product range produced at the vehicle plant. At the same time, we will actively assume and fulfill our corporate social responsibility, work together with the community to preserve the natural beauty of Jingwei, and assist in the development of the Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone.
